~ How long will it take?
Depends on the size of the job.
~ How many people will come out?
Most jobs are assigned to one or two people. In some cases more people may be assigned. You can request more than one if you have time constraints.
~ What should I do to prepare before the scheduled work is performed?
If you are having your interior windows cleaned please make sure everything is removed from the window sills, and please make sure all tenants are notified of
the work about to be performed.
Basic Window Cleaning Service
~ What is included in my Window Cleaning Service?
Basic window cleaning service includes a cleaning of each window, and the wiping down of the sills.
~ Is track cleaning included in your Basic Window Cleaning Service?
Track cleaning is not included in the basic window cleaning service. We offer vinyl track cleaning for an additional charge.
~ Can you remove paint from windows?
Yes we can remove many types of debris from windows including, paint, stucco, silicone, stickers and other construction and remodeling debris. This not covered
under the "Basic Window Cleaning Service." There is an additional charge for these services
~ How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Depending on your circumstances window cleaning can be done quarterly, bimonthly, monthly, biweekly or even weekly. Many customers like to have windows
cleaned in and out once or twice a year and the exterior of the windows cleaned quarterly or biannual, while some smaller commercial accounts like restaurants
need to have windows cleaned each week.
~ What are the effects of not having my windows cleaned regularly?
Many stains that could have been taken care of sooner are now too imbeded into the glass to remove entirely. Sometimes these stains will disappear but only for
a price not included in a basic cleaning charge. Different chemical and extensive attention may do the trick, but perfect restoration cannot always be guaranteed.
Cost wise, a more regular window cleaning routine (every 3, 4, or max- 6 month) is cheaper by far. The windows will be cleaner, will take less time to clean, and the glass will likely last longer than it would if the windows where cleaned on a irregular basis.
Cancellation Policy
~ What is your cancellation policy?
If a cancellation is needed please cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance as we will still be able to schedule someone else for the time slot. Any cancellations made in less than 24 hours, same day cancellations, as well as missed appointments and lock outs will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made over the phone.
Construction Clean Up
~ What is construction clean up service?
Construction clean up consists of removing construction and/or remodeling debris from windows during the cleaning. Paint, stucco, silicone, stickers and stain
are commonly removed on a construction clean up. Please inform us if you are calling from a home or building that was recently built or remodeled and has
construction debris.
~ Why does construction clean up cost extra?
Construction clean up takes a considerable amount of time longer than a basic cleaning and more specialized techniques are utilized.
~ What kind of equipment do you use for construction clean up?
Industry standard equipment is utilized including razors & scrapers. For the safety of your windows please use only trained professionals in a construction
clean up. Untrained and or inexperienced window cleaners can easily cause a lot of damage when doing a construction clean up. Make sure your window
cleaner is familiar with proper techniques, fabricating debris and tempered glass.
~ How long does a construction clean up take?
Construction clean up can take 2-3 times longer than a basic window cleaning.
Discounts
~ I have an expired coupon, can i still use it? Only valid coupons must be presented when making payment.
~ Do you accept competitor's coupons? We do not accept competitor's coupons but we likely have a current promotion going on that may be comparable. Please ask about our specials when you call.
Estimates
~ Can you give an estimate over the phone? Estimates will not be given over the phone, as each job location, and circumstances are different. All customers will be provided with an estimate to there e-mail,
fax or mailing address provided

~ How long is an estimate valid? Estimates are valid for 90 days only. Prices are subject to change after 90 days.
Foggy Windows
~ My windows look foggy, will the fog go away after the windows are cleaned? "Foggy" windows are often damaged or defective double paned windows. This does not clean up. The fog between the panes of glass comes from a broken seal
on the actual window.
Insurance
~ Do you carry insurance? Yes we can provide proof of liability insurance if requested. It is noteworthy to mention that we have yet to have a single incident in which insurance was needed.

Scheduled Cleaning
~ Will you call to remind me when I need cleaning scheduled? If you would like to be put on a regular schedule for service or a reminder schedule please call the office
Noise
~ Do you make a lot of noise during a service? Certain services may make a lot of noise (i.e. pressure washing) while other services make very little noise (Window Cleaning & Gutter Cleaning). If you are
trying to make the appointment around a nap schedule or other noise sensitive time please let know when you schedule. We may be able to complete that
portion of the project before or after the quiet time starts.
Payment
~ What payment methods are accepted? Cash and Checks made payable to "Southeastern Cleaning Inc."
~ Will I be charged sales tax? Currently there is no sales tax charged on services.
~ When is payment due? Payment is due upon completion unless other terms are granted (in writing).
~ What happens if my account is past due? If your account is past due you will be charged a $15 late fee. If your account goes 60 days past due, your account will be referred to a collection agency
~ What happens with returned checks? A $35.00 fee is added to accounts with returned checks, this fee is in addition to late fees.
Pressure Washing
~ Do you pressure wash roofs? Many roofs can be pressure washed. However, If we feel that the job poses a safety risk to our employees we may decline to accept the job or there may be
additional charges for equipment rental/lifts (when needed).
~ My paint is peeling will pressure washing cause the paint to blister or peel more? Pressure washers have adjustable pressure, but if your paint is already blistered or peeling, it is extremely likely that more peeling will occur. Pressure washing
can be used to remove paint from surfaces before repainting.
~ Can you remove gum & oil from parking lots & driveways? In most cases gum can be removed & the look of oil drastically reduced but likely not completely eliminated.
~ Are all pressure washing companies the same? Anyone can buy a commercial pressure washer. Just owning one does not mean that you know how to operate it properly. In the hands of an unskilled
operator it can cause extensive damage. At Southeastern Cleaning Inc., we are trained and practiced in the proper use of our equipment. We use all the
safest methods and treatments to ensure that nothing is damaged.
~ Is there a difference between pressure washing and power washing? They are exactly the same thing, it is just different terminology.
~ What are the benefits of pressure washing? Pressure washing eliminates mold, mildew and cleans any dirt off. It will provide better curb appeal and increase your property values. With the humidity
in this area, it is a good idea to have areas pressure washed at least once if not twice a year.
~ What are the black streaks on my gutter? The black streaks are normally a combination of oxidation from the paint and mold and mildew. These can be removed with low pressure and the right
chemicals.
~ Will your pressure washing cause any damage to my property? ABSOLUTELY-NOT! We guarantee that we use the proper chemicals and the right amount of pressure to clean your property completely, while preventing
any damage.

~ How do window cleaners get their prices? Many window cleaners will bid by how long they feel the job will take, thus more experienced window cleaners may actually charge less! On average window
cleaners charge by size and amount of windows or by the square footage of a job, others might combine methods. Pricing may at first seem steep but one must remember that window cleaners have many expenses such as insurance, equipment purchase and maintenance, payroll, taxes, travel and vehicular expenses, advertising, office expense etc.. Furthermore, window cleaning is one of the most dangerous occupations in the country. Southeastern Cleaning Inc. continues
to keep costs low by efficient time and investment managing. We do almost no advertising due to satisfied customers who return and refer.
Products & Chemicals
~ What sort of products or chemicals are used? Southeastern Cleaning Inc. uses industry standard chemicals which are safe, non toxic & biodegradable chemicals.
~ Will the chemicals you use damage my plants? Southeastern Cleaning Inc. has spent a considerable amount of time researching and exploring the chemicals we use. We only use safe, biodegradable and
effective cleaners that will not harm your landscape.
Bad Weather Policy
~ What happens if it is bad weather during my scheduled appointment? Climbing on ladders during bad weather may be a safety hazard. If it begins to storm during your appointment or before your appointment we may need to
reschedule.
~ How much does rain affect clean windows? Not as much as one may assume since all the dirt that was once on the window is gone, rain drops have nothing to cling to, thus rain has little to no
affect on clean windows. We're sure you would agree that the reason that one would want windows serviced in the first place would be because of attached dirt,pollutants, insect or bird stains, salt water presence in the air, or other longer term moisture presence. It takes time for moisture to affect the clarity of glass.
Tips
~ Should I tip? Tipping is not required, but greatly appreciated. Tips can be paid by cash, or added to a check. If adding tip to a check payment, make sure you make a note of it on the \memo line of your check.
